
Market Update
- Market dropped overnight as a compromise is reached between Saudis and UAE over production levels next year. Though the details of the deal are not yet known, OPEC+ was looking to increase production levels by 400k barrels a day from August to December. UAE was looking to increase their quota from 3.2 to 3.65 starting from April 2022
- DOEs showed yet another draw in crude, for the ninth week running, but the market is more focused on the unexpected builds in products
- China processed record volume of crude whilst the slowdown in its economic recovery was within expectations
- Demand for Gasoline the US fell dramatically after a record week during the 4th of July weekend, Jet fuel demand at is highest as the US economy recovers
